BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – RAISING a child requires positive parenting skills, appropriate socialization and an atmosphere conducive to individual development, and 3P’s (Promise, Potential and Possibility) promises to provide just that for your child.
This Saturday (Nov. 7) is the grand opening of the innovative service, which is expected to benefit parents in great measure. 3P’s is a new day-care facility that offers to take care of children from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. this and every Saturday.
A spacious room fitted with toys, bathroom facilities and infant learning material awaits you at the Ray of Hope Preschool. The location not only offers a clean and safe space for children to spend the day, but also allows parents and guardians greater convenience, as it is ideally situated on Rosemary Lane, downtown Basseterre.
Parents would be able to run errands, work, deal with business or simply relax while their child is engaging in stimulating activities for an all-around education.
Proprietor Kayrisa Rawlins told SKNVibes that she is eagerly anticipating the opening, as it would bring to fruition one of her life goals— to provide an affordable service to take care of children. She said the idea came to her two years ago and she is very excited to launch the “holistic approach to childcare”.
“You have somebody there to take care of your children and provide that home-away-from-home experience.
“As the name suggests, these children are a promise to us and they have the possibility and potential to be whoever they want to be. We are providing that avenue for them to get a positive start,” she said.
The new service will cater for children three to six years old, but consideration may be given to potty-trained toddlers. An exciting and fun-filled programme has already been set and there are no hourly fees; just a nominal flat rate of EC $20 for the entire day of care.
Parents are encouraged to drop off their child as they make a quick errand or leave the children for the entire day as they enjoy their Saturday.
3P’s has a staff of educators and childcare workers who are prepared to take good care of your children, according to Rawlins.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children with a light snack as the young ones spend their time unlocking the promise, potential and possibilities that are within them. Kayrisa Rawlins can be contacted via her cellular phone at 665-2961.
