By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - AFTER a month of waiting, police have indicated that the remains found in Bayfords Mountain have been identified as those of Jesse Lee of Lime Kiln.

In November last year, police said the then 29-year-old was last seen around 8:00 p.m. entering a blue rental vehicle. Since that time he was not seen again, and family members and the Police Force called for the public’s assistance in locating him.

On April 01, this year,  while acting on information, police found human remains in the Bayfords Mountain area and sent the samples overseas for DNA testing, along with samples from a close relative.

Law men did not indicate when the results were returned, but they proved to be a match.

Meanwhile, police said that based on evidence taken from the scene wher the remains were found, they have narrowed their investigations to focus on a person of interest.
