BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - ONE day after confirming the identity of the skeletal remains found in the Bayfords Mountain area, police have named and charged the person of interest whom they were questioning.
In a media statement issued yesterday (May 11), police said that the remains found on April 1 ares those of 29-year-old Jesse Lee of Lime Kiln, who was reported missing back in November.
In that statement, police indicated that confirmation was made through DNA testing when samples taken from a family member/
Now 29-year-old Trevern Edwards of Stapleton Village was on Tuesday (May 10) slapped with a Murder charge in connection with Lee’s death.
Edwards remains at Her Majesty’s Prison where he was remanded for the Murder Arthur Henry of Fountain Estate and the offence of Assault with Intent to Rob.
