By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes.com

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - LAW enforcement officials in Nevis are currently probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a male who reportedly drowned in the vicinity of the Charlestown Pier yesterday (May 4).

The Police Force’s Public Relations Department yesterday only confirmed the incident, noting that it was a male and their investigations were ongoing as they await further details

However, media entity WINN FM identified the deceased as  Harvey ‘Pumby Boy’ Stapleton of Brown Hill, Nevis and reported that his body was pulled from the water near the Bay.

In videos making rounds on social media, the man was reportedly untying boats at the Pier when he reportedly experienced difficulty in the water.

He later succumbed in the water.

Reflections were pouring in on social media for the deceased.
