DPP addresses resignation rumour

By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Valston Graham, is once again forced to be on the defensive after rumours began circulating that he and his staff have resigned their posts.

In a media statement issued yesterday (Ju. 9), DPP Graham wrote, “I wish to assure the general public that such information is inaccurate.”

Graham however confirm that he did receive “resignation letters from three members of staff. However, I and the majority of the staff remain on the job and are carrying out our prosecutorial mandate”.

Over the last several months, a number of leaks had made their way to social media, and had created a buzz in the Federation.

Premier Mark Brantley had even weighed in on recent leaks, criticising those who have been engaging with such.

Meanwhile, the DPP advised that anyone who has “business with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution can continue to contact us”.
