One female succumbs to COVID-19

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Federation has reported its first COVID-19 death after several months when a female succumbed to the virus.
According to information obtained by SKNVibes News, the female is in the elderly age category and was reportedly unvaccinated and died of complications sometime in the last 24 hours.
This latest statistic on St. Kitts has taken the number of confirmed deaths to 44 since the start of the pandemic, with 37 in St. Kitts and seven in Nevis.
Health officials have called on persons to remain cautious as the virus is still within the Federation.
This is evident with the recent uptick in the number of cases since the St. Kitts Music Festival.
