BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Federation’s representative at the 2022 Jaycees Pageant held in Antigua and Barbuda on Wednesday (Jul. 27), strutted her way to the title and dominated the competition in true St. Kitts and Nevis style.
Nekirah Nicholls, the reigning St. Kitts-Nevis National Carnival Queen, brought home the title after winning four of the five judged segments of competition - Best Interview, Best Swimwear, Performing Talent and Evening Wear.
She also won the Most True to theme in the non-judged segments, while Miss Congeniality was presented to Miss Haiti, Most Photogenic to Miss St. Lucia, and Best in Cultural Wear was won by Miss St. Lucia.
The First Runner-Up position was taken by Miss Trinidad and Tobago and the Second Runner-Up spot was won by Miss St. Lucia.
This is the fourth title for the Federation over the last several years after winning in 2011, 2014 and 2018.
The Miss Jaycees Pageant forms part of activities for the Antigua and Barbuda Carnival.
This year's event marked the 59th edition of the pageant, which saw representatives from Montserrat, Antigua and Barbuda, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, The British Virgin Islands, Haiti and St. Kitts and Nevis.
