By: Staff Reporter,

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE dominance of the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League continued today (Aug. 28) when they saw off Barbados Royals in the midday game by 3 wickets.

Batting first, the Royals got off to a flying start through the attacking play of Rahkeem Cornwall before he was dismissed for 36. There were a few partnerships thereafter that pushed the total to 101 for 5 at the end of the allotted 10 overs.

In reply, Knight Riders Sunil Narine showed his attacking intent from the start to blast a quickfire 35 from 16 balls, with support from Tion Webster and Andre Russell.
The Knight Riders now move to the Finals of the inaugural competition where they will take on the St. Kitts-Nevis Patriots from 5:30p.m.
