BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE police earlier this week confirmed another case of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge that was committed back in May.
According to a media statement, police formally arrested and charged a man from District ‘A’ for the offence of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge which was committed between May 01 and 31, 2022.
The man was charged on October 06, 2022 and is currently in Pplice custody.
Over the last several months there have been reports of a number of unlawful sexual acts perpretrated in District ‘A’.
Due to the nature of the crime and the current legislation on the books, neither the identity of the victor nor that of the perpetrator can be made public.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs confirmed that several sexual offences received “not guilty verdicts”.
