On Saturday 4th February 2006 Hensley Daniel (St Johns candidate for the Nevis Reformation Party) handed over cleaning materials to the Bath Community.  These materials consisted of a wheelbarrow, two rakes and weed-eater to ensure that the areas surrounding Bath were clean.  Hensley was inspired to donate these materials after seeing an individual in the community trying his best with his limited materials to keep Bath Village clean and Hensley immediately responded to the call.

Paulette Hanley who and Keith "Kebo" Barzey received the materials on behalf of the Bath Community.  Paulette Hanley in receiving the materials said, "I want to publicly thank Hensley Daniel for donating the equipment.  This will help us tremendously as we endeavour to keep our community clean.  In addition we would like to encourage others to come on board and help us keep it clean.  Words cannot describe our gratitude to Hensley Daniel for this donation as it is a clear sign that he cares."

Keith Kebo Barzey was equally as complimentary of Hensley for his donation.  He said, "I too want to thank Hensley Daniel for donating these tools to the Bath Community as we seek to keep the community clean.  I also want to encourage the villagers to give a hand and help us clean the community as well as remembering to tie their garbage up nice and dump them in the bins instead of throwing their garbage all over.  But I just want to big up Hensley Daniel for his great contribution you know."

Hensley Daniel explained that he was motivated to give the materials for two principal reasons.  He reasoned "A clean environment is essential for public health.  This donation encourages community involvement and to recognize the efforts of those who have come out to keep the community clean.  It helps to put the responsibility for the community back in the hands of the community."  He also hopes that this effort would be replicated in other communities.
