Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis -- Each year in October, Sagicor participates in the drive to increase breast cancer awareness by planning activities around what is now called ‘Pinktober’. This year the company themed its activities around the message “Are You Seeing the Signs?” which highlighted the importance of screening for early detection with its annual ‘Pinktober’ campaign.
The campaign, which was activated in St Kitts and Nevis and the other Southern Caribbean countries in which the insurance giant is present, urged persons across the Caribbean not to wait until the signs present themselves, as they may not always be obvious, but to use screening as the first line of defence. The team in St Kitts and Nevis has been implementing a series of activities for many years now and this year was no different.
