BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE ‘Gangster Ras’, known also in the music industry as Munga Honourable, was recently arrested in a parking lot in New Kingston.
According to 876radio.com, the dancehall artiste was stopped by lawmen during a spot check. It is alleged that they requested a search, and following his refusal a heated exchange ensued. It was later discovered that the motorcycle he was riding was unlicensed.
The media house further stated that Munga was arrested and slapped with six charges - riding an unlicensed motorcycle, riding without insurance, riding without a helmet, riding without proper registration, possession of a dangerous weapon (knife), abusing the police and the use of indecent language.
He is scheduled to appear before the court on November 23.
Munga Honorable is known for his big hit ‘Bad From Mi Born’, which took the Jamaican and the international airwaves by storm, giving him much recognition in the music industry.
