CHARLESTOWN, St. Kitts - POLICE on Nevis are investigating a traffic accident that occurred last evening (Dec. 20) in Cotton Ground, which resulted in the death of a male.
According to information obtained by SKNVibes News, the accident occurred at around 9:15 p.m. and the driver was trapped in the vehicle.
Information also indicated that the driver was trapped in a gray Suzuki motorcar, bearing registration number RA335.
Members of the Charlestown Fire and Rescue Services were summoned to the scene and used the Jaws of Life to extricate him.
He was then transported to the hospital via ambulance.
SKNVibes News was provided with an identity of the individual but, at press time, was unable to confirm the name.
The Police Public Relations Department reported this afternoon that an investigation is underway into a fatal accident on Nevis and more information would be provided shortly.
