By: Flow, Press Release

Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis – February 1, 2023 – Flow St. Kitts – Nevis has announced a change of leadership with Ms. Lorraine Mitchell taking the helm as Country Manager effective February 1, 2023. She has also been appointed to serve as a Director on the Board of Directors of Cable & Wireless St. Kitts and Nevis Limited.

Ms. Mitchell has more than 16 years of experience in the telecoms industry and has worked in several of Flow’s markets including Grenada, Dominica, and St. Kitts. A Grenadian national, she has held multiple roles including, Head of Retail Sales & Customer Experience, Head of Marketing, Commercial Lead and most recently, Commercial Director for Flow’s seven (7) Northern Caribbean markets.

She succeeds David Lake, who has been with C&W for approximately 24 years and served as General Manager of St. Kitts & Nevis for the last 13 years. Mr. Lake leaves behind a legacy of strong leadership and is held in high esteem by his team, locally and across the region.

Following the announcement which was made at a Flow breakfast event for staff held at the Marriot St. Kitts on January 26th, Mitchell remarked, “I am honored to be given the opportunity to lead such an amazing team and I look forward to building on the legacy of success that has already been established. I am passionate about serving our customers and I have no doubt that I am very fortunate to be part of a winning team that is equally dedicated to delivering the very best experience for our customers.

While we are sad to say goodbye to Mr. Lake, who has been one of my mentors during my tenure here in St. Kitts, we must accept that he is ready to pursue other opportunities and be grateful for the many years of yeoman service that he has given on behalf of our customers across the Federation and to our company.”

Flow’s VP, North Caribbean, Susanna O’Sullivan, who was on island to make the announcement said, ‘it’s a bittersweet moment for everyone here, as though we are sorry to see David leave, we know he must continue to walk in his purpose, and we wish him the very best. At the same time, I am excited to be able to fill this role from within the St. Kitts – Nevis team, and I am confident that Lorraine is an excellent choice to lead the business. Her strong commercial acumen will serve this market well and she has my full support. Flow continues to demonstrate that it champions growth and development from within and is committed to diversity and inclusion at its most senior levels.”
