BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - POLICE have arrested and charged two young men following the shooting incident that took place in the New Ponds Site area on Tuesday (Jan. 31) in which no one was injured.
According to a police statement, the two men are Shirbon Eddy (24) and Tishan Eddy (18), both of Taylors Village.
They were arrested and charged yesterday (Feb. 3) for the offences of Shooting at with Intent and Discharging a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place to the Danger of Persons.
The statement noted that the young men’s arrest was as a result of police investigating a report of gunshots being fired at 19-year-old Mozhan Isles sometime after 10:00 a.m. on the day in question in the New Ponds Site area.
The crime scene was processed by personnel from the Forensic Services Unit and the two young men have since been remanded at Her Majesty’s Prison.
