BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - IN their continuous effort to keep guns off the streets of the Federation, members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force have unearthed another illegal firearm.
This latest find, based on an intelligence-led operation, was on Thursday (Feb. 2) in the New Ponds Site area.
According to a police press release, acting on information while investigating a shooting incident in the area that involved Shirbon and Tishan Eddy of Taylors Village and 19-year-old Mozhan Isles, rankshad conducted a search in the wider area,
During that search they had unearthed a Sig Sauer 223 Pistol with one .380 round of ammunition and took them into custody.
This is the third illegal firearm to have been taken off the Federation’s streets for the year.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
