Police operations unearth firearms and Bulletproof Vests

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - ONCE again, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force must be complimented for its continuous efforts in making the Federation a safer place for citizens, residents and visitors as four more illegal firearms have been removed from the streets.

     

    A report from the law enforcement agency stated that resultant of a search operation conducted in the Needsmust area on Wednesday (Mar. 8), ranks had unearthed two Smith & Wesson .38 Revolvers, one Browning Semi-automatic Pistol and one 12 Gauge Shotgun.

     

    Another search operation, on the previous day, was conducted on a premises in Greenlands, where ranks discovered three Bulletproof Vests.

     

    The firearms and Bulletproof Vests were taken into police custody, and investigations into these two matters are ongoing.

     

    This recent arms cache has taken to nine, the number of illegal firearms taken off the streets of St. Kitts and Nevis for this year.
