BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - TWO young men are currently warded at the Joseph N France General Hospital nursing injuries they sustained during a shooting incident in Buckley’s Estate last evening (May 9).
The injured men are 24-year-old Khalifa ‘BK’ Liburd of Buckley's Housing and 22-year-old Grenville ‘Short Boss’ Syder of Market Street’
According to a police report, just after 10:00 p.m. yesterday, officers had responded to a report of gunshots heard in the Buckley’s Estate area.
On arrival, preliminary investigators learned that Liburd Syder were approached by a single masked assailant who fired several shots in their direction before fleeing the scene.
The two wounded men were transported to the hospital, where they are warded in stable condition after being being treatment for their injuries.
Investigations into thise incident are ongoing.
