BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - LAW enforcement officers continue to make inroads in locating and removing firearms from across the Federation, with the latest being on Friday (May 12).
Acting with a search warrant, officers from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force on Friday evening descended on a premises in Central Fiennes Avenue, McKnight, where they found and seized drugs, a firearm, ammunition and other illegal items.
The premises, according to police, belongs to Akeem and Anthea Sage who have since been taken into custody.
Police stated that during the search, one .32 Smith & Wesson Revolver with five matching rounds of live ammunition were found in a barrel and seized along with other evidential items.
