BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - POLICE on Monday (May 15) identified the male who was killed on the previous day in Monkey Hill as 21-year-old Woney Richardson.
On Sunday evening, police had discovered Richardson’s lifeless body in a pool of blood.
In a media statement, police explained that they are investigating a shooting fatality that occurred on May 14 in Lower Monkey Hill, St. Peter’s.
Based on reports received by the Police Force, Richardson had left his home shortly before 10:00 p.m., and a short while after he was found with multiple gunshot wounds about his body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The public has been sounding alarm bells over the recent spate of gun violence occurring across the Federation, and Richardson’s death has taken to 11, the number of homicides committed in St. Kitts and Nevis for the year.
