BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A 44-year-old man was yesterday (May 15) sentenced to serve 33 years at His Majesty’s Prison after the court found him guilty on two counts of Rape.
Police gave his name as Ashley Harris, and he is the second person in recent weeks to be sentenced for Rape.
According to a police media statement, Harris was charged with two counts of Rape on Friday, January 13, 2021.
He was sentenced to serve 16 years on the first count and 17 years on the second, which are to be served consecutively.
