BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- AT LEAST one family is in mourning after a brazen daylight shooting incident left two people dead in downtown Basseterre, and the police probing the incident.
According to unconfirmed reports, a young man and his mother are homicide victims 13 and 14 for the year.
The Police Public Relations Department confirmed the incident to reporters, ”We can confirm that there has been a shooting in which two (2) persons are deceased. The incident took place on Rectory Road in the Greenlands area. Law enforcement is on the scene and preliminary investigations are in progress."
