CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – HOPE NEVIS recently joined in the campaign against cancer on the island when it made a donation to the Pink Lily Breast Cancer Care organisation.
The donation of $500 was part of the proceeds from HOPE’s boat ride to Montserrat on November 7, and was presented by Director of Public Relations Vincia Herbert to Pink Lily’s Managing Director and Founder Lea Parris-Cambridge.
Parris-Cambridge thanked HOPE Nevis for the donation and said she was particularly pleased because it is a group of young people who were giving back to the community.
A release from HOPE Nevis said the donation was to continue to aid in the awareness of cancer in Nevis. The release added that it was part of the thrust of HOPE Nevis to form a symbiotic relationship with other social partners for the good of the country.
