BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - INCIDENTS of crime in the Federation continue as another business establishment was robbed of an undisclosed sum of cash on Saturday evening (Jun. 17).
In confirming the robbery, police reported that the incident occurred at David Lee’s Supermarket in Cayon, where two armed, masked assailants held the store’s owner and security guard at gunpoint.
The duo, according to the police, then forced their way into the closed store and stole a sum of money from the cash register along with other small items before making good their escape.
Police are urging anyone with information that could assist in the apprehension of the perpetrators and other perpetrators of criminal acts, to contact the nearest police station.
