BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE public has assisted in identifying the three boys who were on the police’s radar for causing malicious damage to vehicles along the F.T Williams Highway last week.
In a short media statement, lawmen said they have “successfully identified, with the general public’s assistance, the three (3) persons responsible for multiple incidences of Malicious Damage to passing vehicles”.
Earlier this week, police released video footage of three male juveniles running, apparently after committing the act. The release of that video was in an effort to solicit the public’s assistance in identifying them.
“The three (3) males, all juveniles, were brought to the Basseterre Police Station by their respective guardians on July 26 th and July 27th , 2023 respectively. There, they were each apprehended and interviewed in the presence of their guardians,” police said in their media statement.
Following the interviews, they were released into the custody of their guardians and the matter will now be dealt with by the Child Justice Board at a later date.
