CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - POLICE have made progress with their investigations in the botched robbery at RAM’s Supermarket in Nevis on Saturday (Aug. 19), as they have charged three males in connection with the incident.
Clijuarn Henry of Rawlins Village, Nevis; Kennedy Rodriguez of Pines Garden, Shadwell, St. Kitts; and T’iquan Pennyfeather of Conaree Village/Monkey Hill, St. Kitts were yesterday (Aug.23) charged on three warrants for the offence of Assault with Intent to Rob.
Henry was charged at the New Castle Police Station; while Rodriguez was charged at the Charlestown Police Station, and Pennyfeather at the Cotton Ground Police Station.
Meanwhile, police said that the charges followed a search that was executed on the vehicle Henry was driving on August 19 after a brief chase by law enforcement officers that ended with Henry colliding with a wall along the Brown Hill main road in Nevis.
The search had resulted in the collection of some items of evidential value and apprehension of the trio, police said.
