November 18 – 19 – Meeting at PAHO, Barbados to advance renewal of the Primary Health Care (PHC) Agenda. PHC is the best way to deliver universally accessible, integrated, high quality, cost-effective and comprehensive health services in communities..
November 20 – Meeting with health officials in St. Vincent to discuss their initiative with the International Hospital for Children and the prospects of Milton Cato Memorial hospital receiving surgical referrals from St. Kitts and Nevis.
November 26 – In Nevis , the Medical Officer of Health and Health Disaster Coordinator met with education officials to discuss H1N1 updates and measures that should be implemented to reduce spread of the virus
November 28 - "RUN FOR HOPE" as part of World AIDS Day activities from Cotton Ground to Charlestown sponsored by Digicel
November 30 – Start of 3 day workshop to develop an enhanced Port health Plan consistent with International Health Regulations. Facilitated by PAHO. Participating stakeholders - Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Customs, Ports Authority, Disaster Management, Agriculture, Importers.
December 1 - World AIDS Day walk in Nevis with participation from schools, uniformed groups and members of the health sector. “Open Day” in Independence Square, Basseterre, providing literature to general public and answering questions.
December 2 – Start of 3 day workshop to develop a comprehensive Oral Health Plan for the Federation. Dental caries (cavities) a major infectious disease burden. Facilitated by PAHO in collaboration with the Indain Health Service of the USA and IUON. Particiaption from Dental Professionals of St. Kitts and Nevis, Education, IUON, Social Services.
