Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 09, 2023 (SKNIS): The 43rd Meeting of the CARICOM Regional Organization Standards for Equality (CROSQ) Council is being held in St. Kitts and Nevis from October 09-10, 2023, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
Spearheaded by the St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards (SKNBS), currently chairing the CROSQ Council, the assembly converges expert minds dedicated to bolstering standards and quality across the region.
The Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister responsible for SKNBS, gave brief remarks, underscoring the integral role that collective commitment to standards and quality plays on both a regional and global stage. “This meeting is a testament to our collective commitment to ensuring that standards and quality remain at the forefront of our regional agenda,” Dr. Douglas affirmed.

In this vein, he noted that, in two days, the Cabinet will convene the nation's youth as part of the budget preparation exercises. “We would not be able to truly advance, transition, and transform this country into a sustainable island state without appropriate standards and appropriate international recognition for what we are producing here and exporting to the rest of the world,” noted Dr. Douglas.
