BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - IN recent months the Federation has seen an upsurge in brazen daylight robberies, especially of business establishments, and the latest is that of InstaCash, located at the S.L. Horsford’s Commercial Complex in Basseterre.
Police, in a media statement, said that the robbery took place yesterday (Oct. 14) between 11:30hrs and 12hrs.
The statement noted that preliminary investigation indicated that a masked male had entered the establishment, held the clerk at gunpoint and stole an undisclosed sum of money and other items of value before making good his escape.
Ranks of the Crime Scene Unit had processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value.
