CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - AFTER almost five years when Oualie Beach Resort was burglarised, two male residents of Newcastle were each sentenced to serve 16 years at His Majesty’s Prison.
The convicted men’s names were given as Mikey Mills and Patrice Monzack.
According to a police media statement, they were each sentenced to serve nine years for the offence of Wounding with Intent, and seven years for the offence of Burglary.
Both sentences will run concurrently for for the two men, starting from Tuesday, July 18, 2023, the time they were remanded to prison.
The offences, according to the statement, were committed during a robbery of John Yearwood, owner of Ouqlie Beach Resort on November 8, 2018.
