BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - The official launch concert of St Kitts/Nevis reggae Super Star Masud Sadiki’s third album “Keep It Down To Earth” which was scheduled to take place on Friday 11th December 2009 has been postponed to a date to be announced very early in the coming year.
This decision comes as a result of a number of critical developments which, after careful consideration with his team, the artiste felt that in the interest of maintaining the high standard of work his fans have come to appreciate, the launch must be rescheduled.
Masud wishes to assure the public and his fans in particular, that he and his team continue to work tirelessly to ensure that this event stands out as the most spectacular the Federation has ever seen in the history of album launches.
The show will also feature a select group of top national performers. Masud will be backed by his eight-member Kala Bash Band (St Kitts/Nevis National Reggae Team) and he promises that the end product will be worth the wait.
The album “Keep It Down To Earth” is a 100% St Kitts/Nevis product. It showcases the superb production talent of Masud’s Producer and Music Director Hakeem (Raga Redz) Samuel of Pull Phactor Entertainment on 11 of the 15 tracks.
The other 4 tracks on the album were masterfully produced by the talented Jazzique Chiverton of Ball-A-Karn Productions, who also produced Masud’s first two albums. All songs are backed by a specially hand picked group of musicians and vocalists all hailing from the Federation.
