BASSETERRE, Saint Kitts and Nevis (November 3, 2023) - Ms. Limya Eltayeb, the newly appointed United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Representative to Saint Kitts and Nevis, presented her credentials to the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, the Foreign Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Foreign Minister, Dr. Denzil Douglas, warmly welcomed Ms. Limya Eltayeb to the Federation and expressed his appreciation for the enduring partnership between Saint Kitts and Nevis and UNDP. He acknowledged the pivotal role that the UNDP has played in promoting sustainable development, social progress, and economic growth in the country, especially in the areas of education, and environmental sustainability.
Ms. Eltayeb conveyed her commitment to continuing the UNDP's support for Saint Kitts and Nevis and building on the accomplishments achieved through the existing projects. She praised the government's dedication to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the remarkable progress made so far.
