BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - POLICE late this afternoon (Nov. 16) informed that former government minister Lindsay Grant was convicted on two charges.
In a media statement, the Police Force said: “On November 14th, 2023, Lindsay Grant was convicted on two (2) charges: Battery of a Police Officer, and Assaulting a Police Officer. The offences were committed on January 8th, 2022, at Last Lap Bar in Bird Rock, St. Kitts. Mr. Grant’s sentence will be passed on November 21st, 2023.”
Editor’s note: Unlike the headline of this article, an initial report from the Police Force, published yesterday (Nov. 15) by this media house, had indicated that Grant was convicted on three charges.
