…gets 15 year sentence
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- IRA MAYNARD of Pitcairn Street, Newtown was sentenced to serve 15 years at His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of Manslaughter.
The offence was committed on July 5, 2019, which resulted in the death of Devis Manners.
Police, during their investigations, had charged Maynard with Murder, but he later pleaded guilty to Manslaughter and was sentenced to serve 15 years in prison.
According to the Police Force, the sentence was handed down on Wednesday (Dec. 13) by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC, at the High Court.
