BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - ANOTHER family in the twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is left to mourn the loss of a loved through gun violence.
Dead is 22-year-old Glenville ‘Short Boss’ Syder of Buckley’s, whom police in a media statement said was shot and killed along the island main road in Old Road between 7;30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Monday (Dec. 18).
According to the statement, on arrived at the scene, officers had observed Syderlying motionless on the side of the road with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to his body.
Following an examination, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Personnel of the Crime Scene Unit had processed the scene and took a number of items of evidential value into custody.
Syder’s death has taken to 30, the number of homicides recorded in the Federation for the year.
