Update on Nevis Street shooting incident

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - ALMOST one week since the shooting of a male on Nevis Street, St. Kitts, police have identified the victim as 46-year-old Mandefro France of New Road.
Preliminary investigations revealed that between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan.10), two assailants had fired shots in the direction of France.
Police disclosed that he had sustained a wound to one of his legs was subsequently transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital, where he was treated and warded in stable condition.
As investigations are ongoing, the police are urging anyone who might have information on this matter to call the nearest police station or the Crime Stoppers’ Hotline at 707.
