BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - TWO recent deaths within the Federation are being probed as potential suicide by officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.
Over the weekend, police told reporters that they are currently investigating a suspected suicide at Prospect Estate on Nevis, disclosing that the incident occurred between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Friday (Feb. 2) involving a male.
An investigation into the matter is in progress.
Meanwhile, in another suspected suicide incident, police said the victim’s cause of death was due to multiple organ failures.
They said the organ failures were due to (or as a consequence of) suspected ingestion of a poisonous substance. A toxicology report to identify the substance is pending.
