Hermitage resident on Murder charge

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - SLEUTHS of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force have made significant progress in solving one of the two homicides committed in the Federation for this year, as one man was recently charged with the capital offence.

     

    According to the police, they have arrested and charged 24-year-old Dijon ‘Baby’ Dore of Hermitage, Cayon for the murder of Kelvin Millard. 

     

    He had allegedly committed the crime was committed on Sunday (Jan. 21) in Cayon. 

     

    In a media statement, lpolice reported that the lifeless body of 30-year-old Millard of Upper Cayon was found in his vehicle in Cabbage Tree.

     

    Millard's death was the first recorded in the Federation for the year, and it was reported that the incident occurred between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m on the mentioned date along the island's main road.

     

    According to reports, Millard was accosted by two armed men who shot him, and in a bid to escape his vehicle had crashed a short distance away from where the shooting took place. 

     

    Dore was charged with Murder on Saturday (Feb. 3) at the Basseterre Police Station.
