BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- THE Federation has secured another silver medal at the 2024 CARIFTA Games in Grenada.
The team clinched the silver medal thanks to defending champion Akanye Samuel-Francis, who placed second in the finals of the U17 Boys 400m Hurdles.
Samuel-Francis achieved a personal best time of 52.88 seconds, narrowly missing the top spot, which was claimed by Jamaica’s Robert Miller in a Championship record time of 52.19 seconds. Jamaica’s Fransico Williams secured the third position with a time of 53.19 seconds.
