CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – POLICE are currently investigating two incidents of robbery on Nevis, where cash and valuables were stolen from two establishments within the past two days.
According to a police report, on May 5th, two armed assailants robbed the Gracie Snackette and Bar located at Brown Pasture, Nevis. Investigations revealed that masked assailants entered the establishment through the rear entrance and stole money and other valuable items at gunpoint. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the assailants managed to escape from the scene.
On the following day, Daytan Service Station in Jessup’s Village, Nevis, fell victim to thieves. Police responded to a report of a robbery at the location, where it was revealed that a single-armed, masked assailant confronted the proprietor and stole a sum of money before fleeing the scene. Again, no injuries were reported during the incident.
Investigations into both incidents are currently ongoing.
