BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- POLICE are investigating a brazen daylight robbery at a supermarket in the Shadwell area, where a male suspect walked in and left with a quantity of cash.
The incident, which took place on Tuesday (May 28), was caught on camera and has since been widely circulated on social media.
In a media statement, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force reported that the theft occurred at a grocery store in Pine Gardens, Shadwell.
The robbery happened between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Initial investigations indicate that a single masked assailant entered the establishment, stole a sum of money from the cash register, and then left the scene.
According to the police, no one was injured during the incident.
