CHARLESTOWN, Nevis -- ON Saturday (June 1), police announced progress in the investigation of the Nevis shooting that occurred on May 24. Two individuals have been taken into custody for questioning.
The incident resulted in the death of Joelle Huggins of Hamilton and injured her brother, Julian Huggins.
In their statement, police explained that officers executed several search warrants at an undisclosed location.
“This proactive measure has resulted in the apprehension of two individuals under suspicion of murder,” the police said in their statement. “These suspects are currently assisting with the ongoing investigation.”
