BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE on Tuesday (Jun. 11) provided more details about the shooting incident which left Saddlers resident Kishawn Carty dead and another family in mourning.
In their press statement, the police explained that the shooting incident occurred between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. in the Saddlers area.
Upon arrival at the scene, police found Carty, 32, lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was subsequently transported to the Mary Charles Hospital via ambulance, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Carty’s death brings the number of homicides recorded for the year to 14.
The police have stepped up their efforts to tackle this problem.
