BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- POLICE announced that they have arrested and charged a male in connection with the recent rape and robbery in the St. Peter’s area.
Due to the nature of the crime, the identity of the individual will not be disclosed at this time. However, the police said the man arrested is a Kittitian male who has received four charges.
According to a police press statement, the male has been charged with the offences of Rape, Indecent Assault, and two counts of Robbery.
The criminal acts were committed between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on June 1, 2024. The charges were laid on June 10, 2024, at the Basseterre Police Station.
