BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE confirmed on Saturday, June 22, that 46-year-old Mandefro France of Nevis Street is currently hospitalized at the Joseph N. France General Hospital with multiple injuries.
This incident occurred after France came under fire from two masked assailants.
According to a police statement, the shooting took place on June 21, between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., on Nevis Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts. Preliminary investigations indicate that while in his yard, France was approached and shot multiple times by two armed, masked assailants who then fled the scene.
France was transported to the hospital via police transport, where he is now in stable condition.
