BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- POLICE are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the early hours of yesterday (Jul. 7). While no one was injured, a building sustained bullet damage.
According to police reports, the incident took place in Lower Prickley Pear Alley between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Preliminary investigations indicate that several rounds were fired at the home of Tamara Nisbett, resulting in damage to the structure.
Recently, there has been an increase in criminal activities in the Federation. In response, the police have called for public assistance in addressing this issue.
In a statement regarding the shooting, the police said, “The public’s cooperation and assistance is always vital to our quest for justice. As such, should anyone have any information about this or any other criminal incident, the RSCNPF encourages you to contact the nearest Police station, or report such information anonymously via the Crime Stoppers’ hotline, 707.”
