BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- Police have confirmed that Desmond Tatham of Cayon is currently recovering from injuries sustained during a home invasion robbery.
The incident occurred on July 7th when three armed, masked assailants accosted Tatham and proceeded to search his home.
According to police reports, one of the assailants struck him on the head with the butt of a firearm during the attack, causing an injury. After the assailants fled the scene, Tatham promptly reported the incident at the Cayon Police Station.
Police issued him a medical form and escorted him to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for treatment.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
