BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE winners of the 2007 Rotaract Carnival Prince and Princess Show will be holding on to their crown for yet another year as there will be no show again this year.
According to Burnell Nisbett, President of the Rotaract Club, the decision was made to cancel the show this year after it was difficult to get some of the schools to participate.
“There are a number of issues why we had to cancel the show, but the main one was lack of participation from the schools. However, last year there was no show due to monetary problems,” Nisbett said.
The 2007 winners were the Saddlers Primary School representatives Akaydian Patrick and Shealiyah Kelly.
