BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — AUTHORITIES in São Paulo are investigating the cause of a plane crash that resulted in the deaths of 61 people.
Reports indicate that the aircraft was on a two-hour flight when it began to spin uncontrollably before crash-landing in a residential area.
Videos of the crash have circulated on social media. The airline, Aéreas, issued a statement expressing its commitment to providing comprehensive support to the victims' families and ensuring effective assistance.
The airline also stated that it will collaborate with authorities to determine the cause of the accident, according to the BBC. There were 57 passengers and four crew members on Flight 2283.
