BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – St. Kitts-Nevis Athletics has confirmed that Jaylen Bennett and T’anna Liburd will represent St. Kitts and Nevis at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima, Peru.
The Championships, scheduled for August 27th - 31st, mark the pinnacle of junior athletics, bringing together the world’s top young athletes.
In a brief statement, SKNA announced that both Bennett and Liburd will compete in the 400 meters event, with Bennett in the men's category and Liburd in the women's.
According to the schedule, Bennett and Liburd are expected to compete at 11:25 AM and 12:00 PM, respectively, on August 28, 2024.
The delegation will be led by head coach Timothy Morton.
